HBCB Season Begins May 16 in Poway

The Huntington Beach Concert Band will begin its season on Saturday, May 16 at the Pomerado Community Band Festival in Old Poway Park (Google Map). The Pomerado Community Band is proudly hosting the 21st annual two-day festival featuring 19 bands from all over Southern California. Vendors will be selling craft goods, music merchandise will be available, and food service will be offered. HBCB will be performing on day 1 at 2:00 PM. Performance Opportunity for High School Students

Are you a high school band student or a parent of one looking for another performance opportunity in the summer? We just updated information and posted the application for our Summer Side-by-Side Program. Join the Huntington Beach Concert Band for three rehearsals and an exciting performance on Sunday, July 26th at a Summer Series concert at HB Central Park in front of hundreds of spectators. Challenge yourself with more music and varying difficulties! We’re also offering FREE Latin and Swing dance lessons by expert instructors before selected Summer Series concerts!
